Crazy
We all are
One
N only
Is us
We're just a swinging pendulum
Next to a trillion others
All swinging back and forth, exchanging energy
With a light in the sky that shines for a third of the day
And a million other small lights that we can barely see because of light pollution
What is the solution?
We can sacrifice our bright lights for a day or two to see the beautiful stars
What is waiting out there for us
To take a hold of and grasp
Dream
Instead we're blinded by these big bright lights
Telling us where to go
How to go
Who to go to
Distracted
By instant fame
We're all just grains
With the love for technology subconsciously implanted in our membrane
Sky so bright I can't even see the damn plane
That's supposed to haul me from the Caymans to the Swiss Pole
Can this technology be the death & destruction of our generation?
Will what we built kill us?
More importantly, will we let it?
I won't
The day I let something without a brain control me
Outsmart me
Outperform me
Outdo me
Is the day in which I trade my brain in for a chip
The day I trade my dreams in for anything
Is the day I die
